First things first, I just noticed some rather nasty spam in some of the older blog posts, I've now deleted the comments. This isn't the first time bots have spammed blog posts, so I think I'm going to add reCaptcha to blog commenting, I initially didn't want to since it's annoying to have to do that every comment.

So, what have I been up to? it's been a while since I updated here. Progress on Myriad has been slow, I got distracted by two other projects which I'm going to chat about briefly.

The first project is a massively multiplayer game built in the browser, it's built on top of google appengine (as you may have guessed by now, I'm a bit of a fanboy when it comes to google ;) ). You can watch development of the game over at this address (http://game-development.appspot.com/), looking at that site it's obvious the game is very very heavily in development (it's more a series of code tests that a game at the moment, however feel free to use the chat and overrun our server CPU quota ;) ).

The second thing that distracted me was google wave(http://wave.google.com/). Wave, if you've not heard of it (stop living in a cave), is an incredible communication app which is some sort of combination between email, forums, social networking, blogging, instant messaging and realtime collaborative document editing - it is absolutely incredible :D
